Aperture & Depth Of Field

Photos taken in East Herrington by a Fujifilm Finepix s9600 camera. Camera was set to 'Av' mode and the ISO to auto. Theses photos have been taken from the lowest F stop possible (f/3.2) all the way up to its highest. (f/8)

As we can see the lighting has greatly changed between the photos. The first one used 3.2/f while the second used 8/f and you can clearly see the difference in lighting. As the photograph with 3.2/f is much brightly litten than the photography taken with the 8/f

The most effective setting for the camera was when the F-stop was set to f/4.5. This allowed for the object within this image to be seen clear not letting to much light in while not making the photograph to dark.

I have now learned how to change my F-stop for future photographs when i need to adjust how much light i let in.
