Vantage Points

A position or standpoint from which something is viewed. Angle, Eye view, Outlook, slant, perspective and viewpoint.

This photograph was taken by Rodchenko. He uses the composition of vantage points as seen in this photograph with a high angle shot. Looking down at the woman climbing the stairs, he shows visual elements of line in the railing of the rails.  Mood is created with the use of colours with the bright light from the late summer evening shown by the patterns on her dress and the cast of the shadows from the sun. This helps create depth in the photograph as it captures the space and form within this piece.

This photograph was taken at Gilley lakes. I had its ISO set to ISO-800. It had its F-stop on f/8 while its shutter speed was set to 1/28 sec. This shows vantage points with my use of the horizontal lines showing the horizon. My use of visual elements show tone with the sunset creating the silhouette of the light and the composition in the frame. The horizontal lines within the image create an interesting vantage points. The visual element tone has been used creating a dark silhouette contrasting with the light from the sunset.

I took this photograph at Ryhope beach. I had its ISO set to ISO-600. It had its F-stop on f/5.2 while its shutter speed was set to 1/200 sec. This shows vantage points with my use of the horizontal lines showing the horizon. Horizontal lines along the horizon create an interesting vantage point. The visual element space has been used within the foreground of the image. A Rock is placed in the centre of the photograph creating.the feeling of loneliness and nothing. The rock is surrounded by miles of flat seas of nothing. My use of visual elements shows space as the sea is empty apart from the rock that is placed in the centre of the photograph.

This is a photograph by Stephen Collins It uses the composition of vantage points to show of curved lines shown on the bridge twice and the building to its left.

For this photograph I had the F-Stop set as f/4.5 while the shutter speed was 1/6 seconds. The ISO was set to ISO-200. This photograph goes into composition with use of vantage points as it was created with help from Stephen Collins' work as inspiration with multiple curves as the subject of the photograph. I have used inspiration from the work of Stephen Collins with his use of curved lines seen in the photograph above this photograph shows vantage points with its use of curved lines with the position and perspective of the camera showing the curved lines on the fence.

This photograph was taken by Rodchenko. He uses the composition of vantage points as seen in this photo with a low angle shot. looking directly up. We see the visual elements of line and pattern with in this photograph of the man climbing up the vertical lines of the ladders . This creates the use of vertical lines using vantage points as  shown with the red lines i have added over the photograph.
