Symmetry

When the image is equally balanced ( No symmetry would be asymmetrical )

Stephen Collins creates symmetry within this photograph as he gets right up to the front of the aircraft and captures the shot so it is equal on both sides of the image. Stephen Collins uses the visual elements of tone as the black and white filter is used to showcase the darkness and light qualities of this photograph. It creates mood with the scale of the plane compared to the people. Showing that we are protected.

This photograph was taken in Berlin on the World War One Memorial site. I took this photo using panorama mode with the ISO set on ISO-800 while the shutter speed was set to 1/4000 and the f stop was f/3.6. This uses symmertry as the distance and pattern of the grave stones are symmertically equal each side of the photo like a mirror image. This also uses visual elements of pattern and repetition. with the order and space with the gravestones. More composition is used with vantage points creating a horizontal line and vertical lines. This creates the sense of loss and remorece as thousands upon thousands of men women and children are buried there. They all died so that we may live and its tragic the loss of life seen in one photograph, It is important that the graves are symmetrical as it shows how in the end we all end up the same. No matter our race, gender, sexuality, age , ethnicity we all have the same destination we are all going to die and we all lie side by side as equals.

This photograph was taken is Mowbray park and uses ISO of ISO-200 with shutter speed on 1/45 seconds. Its F-stop was set to f/3.6. This uses composition with the use of Symmetry as cutting down the photo it is symmetrically similar on the left side as the right side this is shown with the objects pattern and design.

This photograph was taken is Mowbray park and uses ISO of ISO-200 with shutter speed on 1/85 seconds. Its F-stop was set to f/3.4 This uses composition with the use of Symmetry as cutting down the photo the structure of the bandstand is symmetrically equal on the left side as it is to the right side thanks to the architects design and the position i was standing to take this photograph.
