Tone

Describes the darkness or lightness of a particular area in an image. Shading from light to dark tone is often used to emphasize the form ( an objects three dimensional quality)

This photograph was taken in Puma and had its ISO setting set to ISO-800. Its shutter speed was set 1/2000 while its F-stop was set to f/5. Tone is created in this photograph by facing the camera almost completely to the sun creating the lens flare at the right. This show shading in the hill and trees while the grass field is well lit and contrasts the dark tone of the adjacent hill

This photograph was taken in Wreck and had its ISO setting set to ISO-800. Its shutter speed was set 1/1100 while its F-stop was set to f/7.1. Tone is created in this photo by the direction of the natural light of the sun and the shade from to cover half the bandstand in shadowy darkness and the other half in sunny lightness. The shadow appears to creep upon the bandstand creating a horror genre feel. This also symbolises Ying and Yang with the good and bad as bandstands connotate weddings and love.

This photograph was taken in Wreck and had its ISO setting set to ISO-800. Its shutter speed was set 1/52 while its F-stop was set to f/5.6. This photo also includes a black and white filter influenced by John Deckers Documentary photographs, other inspirations include William Egglestons idea of space while i have Howards Schatz theme of form and tone. This shows the brightness of lifes wonders you face as the darkened boy looks from the dark spot he is at the the light place he has ahead.

This photo shows tone with the hanging trees over the lake reflected against the bright white clouds in the blue sky this shows darkness and light. This idea of ying and yang the darkness and light side by side to make one is a theme im aiming to achieve as the ripples distort the smoothness of the colours.. 

This photograph was taken in Wreck and had its ISO setting set to ISO-600. Its shutter speed was set 1/600 while its F-stop was set to f/5. This photograph shows tone within the darkened silhouettes of the flowers and greenery the sky is completely filled with gazing white and shows a spot of light reflected in the lake.
