Artificial Light

This photograph was taken at East Herrington Primary School with its F-Stop set to f/2.8 with its shutter speed only on 1/45 seconds. It had its ISO set to ISO-200.
I have used an artificial light on this photograph as i have a birds eye view of this trunk to bright it up in the dark. So it should have captured its visual element of texture with the lines of the cracks and the texture of the bumps of the bark.
I have taken this photograph in the style of Lee Jeffery. This photograph was taken at Bede college. It uses shutter speed of 1/1200 seconds and ISO of ISO-200 while its F-Stop was f/5.6. This photograph captures the use of Artificial light as the subject "Charlotte" stands with a plain black mise-en-scene. This is also examples of visual elements such as space as well as composition of simplification. The artificial light shines in from the side lighting up half the face while leaving a shadow on the other half. This creates the mood along with the Ink filter to create a dark and gritty texture towards the photograph of this innocent character in a hard life and shot as they contrast one another.
This photograph was taken at Bede college. It uses shutter speed of 1/1200 seconds and ISO of ISO-200 while its F-Stop was f/5.6. This photograph shows the use of artificial light as the studio lights that have been used both come in from the side and the subjects "Kevin" and "Hannah" both look directly at the light lighting up all their face that is visible. Two studio lights were used here which leaves a fades shadow across Kevin's face creating the emotions of evil with a sinister painful look. Hannah's face is lighter and has a more happy expression while Kevin's face contrasts this as his angry facial expressions along with the shadow cause tensions. This photograph uses the composition of simplification with the dark backdrop behind the characters. While visual elements is also used in this photograph with the use of space as the characters are alone with nothing else in the frame.
I Was inspired by Annie Leibovitz for this photograph as she captures emotions in modelling shots. This photograph was taken at Bede college. It uses shutter speed of 1/1200 seconds and ISO of ISO-200 while its F-Stop was f/5.6. This photograph uses the visual element of space as this subject "Charlie" has been placed alone in the dark mise-en-scene. This dark black mise-en-scene is the use of composition of simplification singling out the boy against the whole world and leaving him in this blank space. The use of artificial light creates the mood of hope as people look to the right of the photograph when they are looking forward to their future and the determination on Charlies face speaks to the audience on how he is aiming for his goals of the future.
This photograph was taken at Bede college. It uses shutter speed of 1/1200 seconds and ISO of ISO-200 while its F-Stop was f/5.6. The use of artificial light creates the mood of hope as people look to the right of the photograph when they are looking forward to their future, opposed to the opposite when they look back on life and are facing the left of the photograph. The subjects face speaks to the audience on how she has hope for the future the use of light gives the meaning that the subject looks up with the light in her eyes showing the hope in her smile. This connotates that she is ready to embrace the future. This photograph uses the visual element of space as this character "Jessica" has been placed alone in the dark mise-en-scene. This dark black mise-en-scene is the use of composition of simplification singling out the girl against the whole world and leaving him in this blank space.
This photograph was taken at Bede college. It uses shutter speed of 1/1200 seconds and ISO of ISO-200 while its F-Stop was f/5.6. This photograph uses artificial lights to create colour and temperature. I used a red lens on the left studio light and a blue lens on the right studio light. This creates temperature as the red connotates a heat and the blue connotates cold. This photograph looks like the sirens of a police car alarm flashing the red and blue meaning trouble but looking deeper the character looks left showing he is looking back on his life which with the red shows it was a dark and painful past which he has led leaving his future cold and alone which he is not ready to embrace and change.
