Natural Light

This photograph was taken at Gilley Law Lakes.. This uses ISO o f ISO-200 while the F-Stop was f/3.2. The shutter speed was set at 1/200 seconds. I have used natural light in this photograph as the sun shines from the right of the image making the right alignment brighter than the left alignment creating a three dimensional image. The natural light brightens the bright blue sky and contrasts it from the dark  blue of the lake.. The yellow and green of the grass is shown brighter in the for ground while the trees are much darker in the backdrop.  The composition of this photograph shows the vantage points of the scene as we are tilted slightly to make the hills on the right higher.

This photograph was taken in East Herrington. This uses ISO o f ISO-200 while the F-Stop was f/5.6. The shutter speed was set at 1/300 seconds. I have used natural light in this photograph as the sunset pierces through the grey clouds. The contrast between yellow and orange light of the cloud in the bottom left and the blue from the clouds in the top right. This also uses the composition of rule of thirds as both distinct colours are on the alignments of the grid.

This photograph was taken at  Raven Forest. This uses ISO o f ISO-200 while the F-Stop was f/2.5. The shutter speed was set at 1/800 seconds. I have used natural light in this photo to use the sun pointing directly at the forest. The use of the sun makes all the leaves and wood bright and shiny, almost blinding. The shadowed insides of the forest create contrast against the bright outline of the forest.

This photograph was taken at Farringdon. This uses ISO o f ISO-200 while the F-Stop was f/6.4. The shutter speed was set at 1/800 seconds.I have used the natural light of the sunset to capture temperature with the sky changing from a cold blue day to a warm summer sunrise. The direction of the light spreads from the bottom centre across the photograph just like the sunrise spreads across the sky.

This photograph was taken in East Herrington. Its F-Stop was set to F/8 while its shutter speed was on 1/400 second and its ISO was set to ISO-200. This photograph shows the natural light as the burning hot fire sits alone in the pitch black darkness. This is the compotition of simplification. This shows natural light of the fire as the only light in the dark night. Orange again connotates the heat and warmth the fire gives off.

This photograph was taken at Penshaw. It has a shutter speed of 1/2000 seconds with its f-stop set as F/8 while its ISO was ISO-200. This photograph captures colour temperature as the sun from the horizon changes the natural colour of the sky to bright yellow and orange. Orange connotates warmth and heat as well as success and happiness.  The visual elements of tone is used in this photograph as the shadows and dark dim lighting is visable. The composition of vantage points is also used in this photography as horizonal lines are visable on the mountains where the sun shines over and at the point the mountain meets the lake. Composition is used in this photograph. For example simplification can be applied as it is a simple photograph of the sun setting. most of the image is blacked out by the hue and temperature of the photograph leaving only the sun as the main object of focus. The rule of thirds isntfollowed as the sun isnt on any of the axis and is in the centre of the photograph.

This photograph was taken at the Winter Gardens. Its ISO was ISO-200 while its shutter speed was 1/2000 seconds and had a f-stop of f/5. This shows natural light from the bright shining sun in the left corner of the photograph. This is contrasted with the dark visual element of tone and the dark  moody sky. This photograph goes against normal composition of the rule of thirds as this structure is in the centre of the image and not following the rule of thirds..

This photograph was taken at Mowbray Park. Its F-stop is set on f/5 while its ISO was set on ISO-200 and its shutter speed was set on 1/2000 seconds.  This uses natural light with the dark dim light of the sky. With the sun almost gone and dark night around this photograph was taken. This photograph shows the visual element of tone and texture of the stone wall behind the subjects. is rough and damaged time is making them deteriorate and grumble. Framing is used into the photo by placing the subjects in the middle to allow the arch and curved line surround them in a bubble like structure as the crumbled rocks.

This photograph was taken in East Herrington. Its ISO was ISO-200 while its shutter speed was 1/200 seconds and had a f-stop of f/5.  This shows the use of light as the light intensity varies through the photograph as the light creates a light blue sky before the grey white and yellow bright clouds before going into a dark blue sky. This shows dark light of the buildings hidden and covered from the sky.

This photograph was taken at South Sheilds Beach. Its ISO was set to ISO-200 and its shutter speed was 1/400 seconds while its F-Stop is set to f/3.4. This shows natural light as the sun is shining from the top right of the photograph relecting off the white waves and making the sea behind grey. The sand at the bottom right is much lighter than the sand further left of the sand. This photograph goes against the composition of Rule of thirds as the characters are in the centre and middle of the grid which is not aloud in the rule of thirds. This photograph shows the mood and emotion of friendship and challenge as the charcters embrass one amother while looking out to the endess sea of possibilities they have to face.

This photograph was taken at East Herrington. The ISO was set to ISO-200 while its shutter speed was set to 1/400 seconds. and its F-Stop was set to f/4.6. My use of light is shown with the natural light of the sun hiding behind the houses creating a visual element of tone with shade. The natural light is shown on hitting the clouds and lighting them up while we see the contrast from the bright light where the sun hits and the dark dim grey on the other side as well as underneath the cloud. The use of composition using the rule of thirds is shown here as the lampost is on the axis as well as the main cloud that has both light and dark colour on it

This series of photographs capture two different camera controls.

The top row shows the use of different F-Stop and what turning it up and down would do.

The bottom row shows the use of different exposure times and what turning it up would do or how turning it down could effect it.
